Morning drive through the Apennine mountains to explore Pianura Padana (Po Valley) home of the most prestigious Italian culinary specialities like Parmiggiano Reggiano cheese, Prosciutto di Parma & traditional balsamic Vinegar of Modena.
Our first stop will be to learn about all the techniques & traditions in making Parmiggiano Reggiano cheese on a private tour followed by tasting session.
Continue than to Langhirano, the headquarter of the cured Prosciutto di Parma. Visit of the factory where you will see and learn how the prosciutto is made. The tour will end at the factory restaurant with a prosciutto tasting, including other local specialties and a gourmet lunch, try the best Tagliatelle alla Bolognese or Tortelli stuffed with pumpkin, parmiggiano and balsamic vinegar.
After Lunch continue to Maranello for a visit at the Ferrari Museum (entrance fee included).
